Super Bowl week in New Orleans is always filled with excitement, but the Annual Taste of the NFL stands apart as a celebration that truly feeds both body and soul. This year’s event, held at the National WWII Museum, combined world-class cuisine, celebrity athletes, and a passionate community—all united by a powerful mission: to combat student hunger and food insecurity across the nation.

Curated by culinary luminaries Andrew Zimmern, Carla Hall, Tim Love, Lasheeda Perry, and Mark Bucher, Taste of the NFL 2025 brought together over 20 acclaimed chefs from Louisiana’s finest restaurants, including Acme Oyster House, Brennan’s, Dooky Chase’s, and Restaurant August. Alongside NFL alumni and the vibrant sounds of a jazz big band, the event created an unforgettable atmosphere where food, football, and philanthropy intersected.

At its heart, Taste of the NFL supports GENYOUth, a nonprofit founded by America’s dairy farmers and the NFL, dedicated to ensuring children live well-nourished, active lives by providing access to nutritious school meals. As GENYOUth CEO Ann Marie Krautheim explains, the organization’s work is vital to helping students thrive both in and out of the classroom.

With every bite and every dollar raised, the event reminded attendees that while Super Bowl weekend is about celebration, it’s also an opportunity to uplift communities—making a lasting difference in the lives of children who need it most.
