It was a night where global media met the heartbeat of Louisiana.
On Tuesday, February 4, over 6,000 journalists, photographers, and broadcasters in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX were immersed in a celebration that captured the unmatched spirit of the Crescent City. Held at the iconic Mardi Gras World, the annual NFL Media Party transformed into an unforgettable cultural showcase, blending world-class entertainment with the city’s legendary hospitality.

The evening unfolded across five live music stages, with high-energy performances by local favorites including Amanda Shaw, The Soul Rebels, and Big Freedia—setting a powerful, joyful tone that pulsed through the venue. As the music played, guests sampled the best of New Orleans cuisine from 30 top restaurants, including institutions like Commander’s Palace, Bayona, Dooky Chase, Blue Oak BBQ, and Dakar NOLA.

This wasn’t just an event—it was a tribute to Louisiana’s vibrant creative economy and a chance to uplift the local artists, chefs, and businesses that define the region. It offered a moment of levity and connection for the global press corps, and a reminder that behind every major event are communities proud to share their story with the world.
With its music, food, and soul on full display, Louisiana gave the media more than something to cover—it gave them something to remember.
